1

Website Functionality

The more complex your website's functionality needs are, the more time and resources it will take to build. This includes features like e-commerce capabilities, Artificial Intelligence integration, custom integrations, and advanced user interactions.

2

Project Timeline

If you need your website completed quickly, it may require additional resources and overtime work, which can increase the overall cost. But in general, a website takes 3-6 months to complete, depending on its complexity and how quickly you can provide feedback and materials.

3

Digital Marketing

Depending on your digital marketing needs, additional features such as SEO optimization, content creation, and social media integration may be required, which can impact the overall cost. On-Page SEO is automatically included in all of our websites.

Cost Calculator

We understand that every project is unique. That's why we offer a cost calculator to help you estimate your project's cost based on your specific needs and requirements. Keep in mind that this is just an estimate, and the final cost may vary based on the complexity of your project and any additional features or services you may require.

And yes, it may actually be lower than the estimate!

What About Web Builders?

A web builder is an online application where anyone without web development or design knowledge can make their own website for a monthly subscription that is often inexpensive or free. Some of these are Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Weebly, and WordPress.

While web builders may seem like a convenient and inexpensive option for building websites, they often lack the customization and functionality required for a professional and effective online presence. Custom web design and development allows for greater flexibility, scalability, and search engine optimization, ultimately resulting in a more successful website.

Cookie Cutter Designs

Cookie-cutter websites all look the same — they lack personality, uniqueness, and a true reflection of your brand. If you found a template for your industry, chances are your competitors did too. That means visitors will quickly notice that your site looks just like everyone else’s.

Take a look at these two websites — see how similar they feel?

  • Same header layout
  • Same hero image slider
  • Similar icon sections with short descriptions

They’re using the exact same template, only swapping out the colors, images, and text. The result? - Two websites that look nearly identical.

Overloaded Website Code

Page builders are designed for people without coding knowledge, so they pack in as many features as possible to appeal to everyone. The problem? - Extra features mean extra code, which slows your site down and frustrates visitors.

Here’s how overloaded website code affects your website:

  • Unnecessary features you may never use
  • More code for your server to process
  • Slower loading times in the browser
  • Poorer user experience and higher bounce rates

A custom-built site avoids this by including only what your business actually needs.

User Experience

Page builders let you drag, drop, and customize your site, but that doesn’t guarantee a great User Experience (UX). Good UX is about more than looks — it’s about guiding visitors and making your website easy to use.

Here’s why professional UX design matters:

  • Helps visitors find what they need quickly
  • Guides users toward taking action (like contacting you or making a purchase)
  • Avoids confusion from poor content placement
  • Keeps people on your site longer, reducing drop-offs

In short, thoughtful UX design ensures your site works for your business, not against it.

Vulnerability

Websites built with popular tools like WordPress can be easier targets for hackers. Since so many sites use the same plugins and code, once a weakness is found, it can be exploited across thousands of websites.

Common risks include:

  • Plugins from unknown sources can open a backdoor to your site.
  • Outdated plugins often leave security holes.
  • Too many plugins can cause conflicts and weaken protection.
  • Some web builders lack strong security features by default.
  • Shared hosting can spread issues if another site on the server is hacked.

What If I Can't
Afford a Big Budget?

We understand that not every business has the budget to pay for a full website upfront. That’s why we offer a flexible, in-house financing option designed to make it easier for you to get the high-quality website your business needs — without the financial strain.

We'll work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget and keeps things stress-free. Here’s how our financing works:

  • We determine your total cost.
  • You pay a down payment to start your project (10%, 25%, or 50%). You can select the size of your down payment.
  • Monthly payments spread across 12 months
  • 0% interest
  • Any additional requests beyond the original scope are billed separately as needed
  • You’ll have full access to your website during the payment period
  • If your card fails and isn't updated within 10 days, your site will go into maintenance mode
  • Two consecutive missed payments will mark the project as paused — but we’re always open to finding a solution together
  • Three consecutive missed payments will mark the project as abandoned. No refunds allowed.

Use the calculator below to see how our financing option can work for you. Feel free to adjust the estimated amount and down payment percentage to see how it affects your monthly payments.
